Field trips to The Schiele Museum are an exceptional way to supplement classroom instruction to meet state standards for curriculum and instruction. Students will have access to permanent exhibits, traveling exhibits, the outdoor spaces on the nature trail, museum store, an array of educational programs, and an immersive dome theatre experience in the planetarium if they choose to take advantage of the diverse experiences available at The Schiele Museum.

Group Admissions & Fees
Museum Admission for Students & Parents: $2 per person plus tax
Most Education Program Selections: $3 per person
James H. Lynn Planetarium & Science Theater: $5 per person plus tax
Teachers & Staff: Free
Advance booking and a minimum group of 15 are required for field trip rates. Please inquire about pricing for gemstone mining and dissection programs. Field trip fee is based on the number of participants registered in advance and is due in full the day of your field trip. Don't sweat the details – our scheduling staff will provide you with a quote and an invoice for your field trip when you schedule.
We accept cash, credit card or by checks made payable to Schiele Museum.
Please note that Schiele and ASTC member benefits do not extend to group/field trips to the museum. If attending programs at The Schiele as part of a school or group field trip, the group admission and program fees apply.
Complete your field trip with lunch at The Schiele Museum
Don't forget about lunch – your students won't! The Schiele Museum Store offers lunches from a number of local establishments, delivered to the museum during your visit. Orders should be placed at least one week before your visit.* To make lunch arrangements, call 704-866-6924.
*Lunches are offered for groups of 15 visitors or more.
