Educational Adventures! Schedule

 Educational Adventures

Get your tickets now for the fun, educational programs for you and your family we have scheduled daily!

 Each week, The Schiele Museum will offer a variety of themed programs that will inspire curiosity about science and the world around you!

Beginning September 26th, the Educational Adventure programs will be included with the purchase of a Pumpkin Patch program ticket.  To learn more about the Pumpkin Patch, click here.

Fees

Unless otherwise noted, all Educational Adventure programs will have the following fee structure.

  • Schiele Members: $5, ages 3+
  • Non-Members: $7, ages 3+

These fees help to off-set the costs for museum operations from caring for the live-animals, program materials, and staff. Fee includes admission to Education program and access to the Farm. Ticket purchase does not include admission to visit indoor museum exhibits.

We appreciate your support through your participation!

Safety

All participants in our Educational Adventures programs will be required to wear a mask and practice safe, social distancing during the program and while they're visiting the site.  As recommended by health officials, we also recommend you maintain a 6' distance between yourself and others and wash your hands as often as possible.

Walk Like an Animal, Talk like an Animal

Explore the different noises and movements animals make with some of our museum animal ambassadors.

This program is geared for younger audiences (ages 3 to 8).

Farm Meet-N-Greet: Pigs

A little meet and greet with the newest residents at the Farm.

11 AM & 1:30 PM
Woodland Indians

Visit the Catawba Indian Village to explore the fascinating ways people found food, clothing, and shelter in the wilderness.

Visit the mine to search for gems and interesting stones using running water.  Miners keep what they find!
