Explore the fascinating natural history of pumpkins, the famous fall fruits that have become the unofficial symbol for fall.  Learn about how they grow, how they are farmed, their nutritional value and our growing fascination with all things pumpkin.  After a short program, each participant gets to select a pumpkin to take home.  Plus, enjoy a self-guided tour of The Farm and meet and animals including goats, pigs, alpacas and more.  Fun and enrichment suitable for all ages.


Enjoy picking a pumpkin to take home from the Pumpkin Patch presented by First Horizon.


The Farm will be decked out for the Fall for this festive, month-long celebration of the pumpkin!


Tickets must be purchased in advance.

  • Pumpkin (while supplies last)

These fees help to off-set the costs for museum operations from caring for the live-animals, program materials, and staff. Fee includes admission to Pumpkin Patch program, pumpkin, and access to the Farm. Ticket purchase does not include admission to visit indoor museum exhibits.

All participants in the Pumpkin Patch program will be required to wear a mask and practice safe, social distancing during the program and while they're visiting the site.  As recommended by health officials, we also recommend you maintain a 6' distance between yourself and others and wash your hands as often as possible.
