Get ready for a great summer with exciting camp activities that take advantage of the awesome exhibits, resources, and staff at the Schiele Museum.

Please note Summer Camp for 2022 is closed and booked!


  Our camps provide an enriching summer program for students with quality science, cultural, art, and outdoor activities with a full-day schedule that will meet the needs of your family.  With fantastic themes scheduled for each week, your child can participate for one week, several weeks planned around your vacation schedule, or join us from the beginning of summer to the end!  In addition to cool explorations in science, history, and culture, camp participants will enjoy a host of other activities on a daily and weekly basis, including:

  • Swimming
  • Hands-On Activities
  • Outdoor Recreation – Hiking, Fishing, Wildlife Watching
  • Movies
  • Guided Exhibit Activities
  • Planetarium Shows and Museum Programs
  • Daily Snacks (campers bring their own lunch)
  • Field Trips
  • Games and Recreation – Bowling, Skating, Games, and more


Summer Day Camp is open for children entering grades 1 - 6.  Individual camps are organized into age-level groupings; rising 1st – 2nd graders, rising 3rd – 4th graders, and rising 5th – 6th graders.  Organized activities begin each day at 9 AM and end at 4 PM.  Every participant is invited to participate in our extended day program that allows drop-off as early as 7:30 AM and pick-up as late as 5:30 PM at no additional charge.


Schiele Members are eligible to register beginning in January!

 Summer Day Camp Weekly Fees:

Members - $180

Non-Members - $200


Payment in full for all camps is due at the time of registration.
No refunds on Summer Day Camps.
Camp registration deadline is one week prior to the start of the program unless otherwise listed.

Schiele Members have exclusive access to sign up for summer camps January through February.

Registration opens to non-members beginning March 1st.

You will need your Schiele Museum Membership Number at time of registration.  Non-members are invited to join the museum and participate in early registration.  Ask for details when you call.

How to Sign Up for Summer Camps:

Step 1.

Choose the camps you would like to attend from the Summer Camp list. 

Step 2.

Call 704.854.6676 to reserve your camp spot. Want to speed things up? Submit a request form. Please note, payment is required in full to reserve a camp spot. Registration opens to members in January.

Step 3.

Complete and return the registration forms (these will be emailed to you).
