2021 Summer Camps for Rising 3rd & 4th Graders
Summer camp at The Schiele Museum is a unique experience full of excitement for exploring science and the natural world. Participants can look forward to hands-on activities and a variety of learning experiences within the museum, outdoors on the Nature Trail, and on carefully selected trips in the local community. Organized activities begin each day at 9 AM and end at 4 PM. Every participant is invited to participate in our extended day program that allows drop-off as early as 7:30 AM and pick-up at late as 5:30 PM at no additional charge.

Camp 301: June 1 - 4 Put your detective skills to work in this summer camp and explore perplexing animals, missing artifacts, treasure maps, and much more. Can you solve the mysteries? |

Camp 302: June 7 - 11 Design wacky contraptions, build innovative creations, and deconstruct everyday objects all while learning about how things work in this inventions-filled camp. |

Camp 304: June 21 - 25 Learn how to make your own nature journal and fill it with field sketches while learning about N.C. wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts to preserve our natural places. Grab your nature journal, hand lens, and binoculars and let’s hit the trail to see how many N.C. native organisms we can find! |

Camp 308: July 19 - 23 Who knows what will happen in our spontaneous scientist’s camp? Our unpredictable physics genius will enlighten, inspire, and entertain the brains of budding scientists with fantastic experiments and outlandish demonstrations. |

Summer Day Camp Weekly Fees:
$165 Schiele Members / $185 non-members
Schiele Members have exclusive access to sign up for summer camps from January through February.

How to Sign Up for Summer Camps:
Step 1. Choose the camps you would like to attend from the Summer Camp Guide.
Step 2. Call Lana DuPont at 704.854.6676 to reserve your camp spot. Please note, payment is required in full to reserve a camp spot.
Step 3. Complete and return the registration forms (these will be emailed to you).
