What time does the program run?
7:30 AM - 5:30 PM on Wednesdays
My child will be entering kindergarten in the Fall, can they participate?
This program is offered to children currently in 1st - 5th grades
I'm a Schiele Member, do I get a discount?
YES - Schiele Members receive a reduced rate.
What does my child need to participate?
Each child should bring with them an electronic device on which they can do their school work digitally including any other additional materials they might need like workbooks, notepaper, pencils, etc.
Is lunch provided?
Participants should plan on bringing their own lunches. Participants will not have access to a refrigerator or microwave. Please send food items in containers that campers can open themselves to prevent the touching of food items by staff members. If a staff member needs to open any food items for a camper, the staff member will be required to wear gloves.
What precautions are you taking to ensure safety?
Schiele staff will wear masks. We are taking every precaution to keep your children safe while they are participating in our programs. We are constantly evaluating our policies and procedures to follow the current recommended health and safety guidelines as recommended by the CDC and local and state officials. Temperature checks at the time of drop off, frequent handwashing, access to hand sanitizer, and maintaining social distancing are some of the basic practices that will be implemented.
Will my child have to wear a mask?
Yes. As part of the current CDC and NC State health guidelines, participants will be required to wear a mask.
Will you be offering tutoring for school work?
No. The Schiele staff will be there to help monitor your child while they are at the museum and encourage them to complete their school work. The Schiele is not responsible for guaranteeing that a child's work is being completed.
When is payment required?
Payment will be required monthly to guarantee your spot.
