Celebrate with us as we commemorate this 60th Anniversary!
Without doubt, there are too many favorites to choose just one memory! The cow eye dissection workshop (Dec 2020) is a favorite memory with my son. Other learning opportunities (even for adults like me) include Bat Day (with instructions for building a Bat Box in your yard), making candles with herbs, and Weather Day! So many STEM-based hands-on opportunities to learn the mysteries of science. Great work, Schiele!

My first memory of The Schiele Museum is when I was in 3rd grade in 1961. Our class went on an end of year field trip to the museum. It was so much fun and unlike anything that we had ever seen before.

There are sooo many wonderful family memories of going to Schiele Museum for over 40 years sharing with our son and grandchildren. The seasonal events are truly the most memorable. I remember when we went for an Easter event where the volunteers dressed in period costumes sharing how to dye Easter eggs with natural dyes made using onion peels, cabbage etc. My son and I were so excited we went home and experimented making lovely colorful eggs from veggies out of the frig and onions from the pantry. Ohhhh and the Christmas Candlelight event was always very special for us as we have continued the tradition of taking our son to sharing these special moments and memories with our grandchildren today. Thank you Schiele Museum for being there for our family and Congratulations on your 60th Birthday! We are season Passholders and look forward to more years to come. ❤️
Taking my first workshop, ABO 101 and watching Steve Watts make friction fire with a bow drill set. I was blown away!
